As long as it's a promising job that won't end within a year or so, like a contract and the pay is adequate to support a move like that. Of course I'm coming from across the country, so distance is a bigger factor.

For me, it would depend on family and stage of career. Of course, if it did not work out you could always go back.

I live in a small town in NH, and am making about 20-30k less than I would in Boston. it depends on the person... I grew up there, don't like the city, love my house and some things just aren't worth it (to me)

AWS security wanted me to move to Virginia for a year, after that it could have been anywhere. My fiancée is working on a PhD. I found a job I like more here.
