When Hackathon Hackers uses "node.js" so much that I'm not sure if it's actually useful or just a joke anymore....

    Well, node is beginning to become "last year". It's still awesome and quick to prototype your product, but using node doesn't make you "cutting edge" anymore. Even the creator of express changed from node to golang.

    And there's a prime example of why the our community development ecosystem is insane. I sometimes feel people are so busy building frameworks and languages that no one is actually producing any solutions!! There's no time between the latest hip and trendy delivery platforms! #toooldforthisshit

    @samk Node is good but feel in one sense that it's opened up the potential for a new one to spring up each year until we get board of async or something else comes up.

    It is still very useful and I like it... but your cool kids on the Hackathon are outdated!
    If they want to pretend to be hipster cool awesome programmers they need to mention Go and unikernels...
