@dfox
Idea: be able to swipe rants to the right to mark them as read so they don't turn up again

    Algo sort already automatically doesn't show any rants you've already seen.

    @dfox oh really? Guess that settled :).

    @dfox also if I just scroll by it? Because some im not inteterested in and just dont want to see anymore

    @zombie01 yep, it works when you just scroll by it.

    and if you want to see what you scrolled by, simply check your profile, and click on the tab for previous rants

    I don't like it. I see devRant as a stream, not like emails.

    How about adding a cathegory: saved rants?

    Just swipe to save the rant for offline use (not just the photo)

    You can favorite rants, how about making favorite rants offline saved? @linuxer4fun

    Wait, it works even if you don't click on the rant to open it up? @dfox

    @dfox if its true , it doesnt work. I have reloaded three times on algo sort, and it doesnt work. BUGFIX NEEDED

    While we have your attention, if love an option to see the whole Rant on the main feed instead of having to go into Rant view.

    Rants get marked as read when you scroll past them to the next batch in the feed. This is done on purpose since just refreshing the algo feed doesn't mean you read the ones currently on the screen. Once you go past the batch to the next batch, they are marked as read.

    @flag0 we can possibly make that a setting, but for default we definitely don't want to do that as some are really long and it would also make it easier for abuse of the main feed.

    @dfox how big is a batch?

    @Dittoslash everything until the loading more rants, I think

    Good idea, would be nice to -- with swap left and swap right to ++
  • 0
    @metaory no, as its not something u would do by simply scrollitg over it

    @linuxer4fun not as marking it as read,
    But to ++ & --
    -- is reporting

    @SoupSpoon it doesn't work on web, and on mobile it only is functional in algo sort.
