GieltjE18198y@Lel00 went from 1.3 visus to 0.7 in two years, guess I should have rested more. So take care of your rest!

Lel005548yAh yeah - I've been having late nights for the past few days, this project is really addicting I guess.
Needless to say I won't be programming in the dark much anymore! -
Lel005548y@mpotratz Ah, thanks for the tips! I'll think that the damage was caused from looking at the screen 24/7 in the darkness, actually.
@jumpshot44 Thanks man, I plan to! -
@Lel00 my nearsightedness has progressed in the past few years but I prefer coding with lights on, especially when using a light theme.

@Jase
Well, I do have an astigmatism in both of my eyes. Would programming in light thing be less stressful on your eyes, or would it not really matter do you think? -
@Lel00, If I'm in the dark I go for a dark theme. If I've got the lights on I go for a light theme sometimes even a dark theme. But I will advice against using a light theme in the dark.

GieltjE18198yF.lux with a dark theme and good background lighting really eases my eyes. (Everybody used to make fun of me for those reasons, several years on everbody followed).
Be sure to listen to your body, even light strain can cause problems over time.
That time when you have been programming almost non-stop for a week and quickly figure out on the 7th day that your vision got worse and now have to go to the optometrist :(
