Can we get a downvote option "not a rant" or some kind of filter? This platform is for rants, hence the name!

I know some of you want to share something or ask questions but there are other platforms for that kind of stuff... Facebook, quora, stackoverflow, Twitter, Reddit, etc...

What those other platforms lack is this community. I would love to see devRant become the one dev platform (to rule them all), with tabs/sections for people who are interested in just rants.

A filter sounds nice. You could make a simple "Don't show non-rants" option, which should filter out posts with the "!rant" tags. We should also be able to flag non-rants with "!rant" tags too, similar to how we flag offensive content in other platform.

IMO, Devrant is not just for rants. It's for things you cannot speak outside , things you cannot ask on stackoverflow, fun , fuck & duck.

Having an option to mark non-rants will make our community the next stackoverflow where people are mean & have a stupid debate whether this is a rant or not.

Our supportive community has broadened the scope of devRant. More than rants now, in my opinion. ☕️👍😀

A filter or category would be great. If a lot of people want non rants, so be it. Give the users what they want. After all, it seems that the majority of posts are non rants.

Also, I think the stickers are a bad approach by now. I feel like there are a lot of posts just so people get their 30+ upvotes...
