Rajiv is a typical zdnet author in that he's poorly researched, non-technical, opinionated and usually wrong.
The whole situation in Indian payments is rather hilarious on a certain level. I see people arguing for the righteous and local paytm (mostly funded by chinese and japanese money) over the evil google pay, or even the good local Flipkart (which is 80% owned by Walmart). Like any of it has anyone's best interest in mind. -

that's rajiv. have mercy @sortoftested. -
saas13014ythe paytm guy won't be charging fee for dominos and ola.
Sure, but we see the user base you'll capture 😒 -
@saas
I have no obligation to be merciful when someone who has no qualification, experience or bonafides to be speaking on a subject presents himself as an expert on an internationally visible platform. I expect professional level skill from people operating at a professional level. The assertion they deserve any form of leniency for the quality of their work is patently absurd.
I'm no kinder to Ed Bott, Mary Jo Foley or Paul Thurott. -
@saas
Damn internets and the inability to convey sarcasm via text effectively. ;)
