logickee248yThe message I received fr the text is... for sure i will never be well trained in every area... But at least I can find the way/key to make myself there... thanks for the idea... LOL

ludwig548yI'm sorry, but my English isnt too great and I don't quite understand this post. Would someone mind explaining it to me?
-
@ludwig basically it's just saying, don't bother with all the nuances of a language. instead have a very good understanding of the principles, and everything else will fall into place

sgoel015978yHey guys, I am a self taught programmer and understand that fundamentals are important. I just finished systems programming course and networking course. What do you recommend to do next ? Databases ? I tried compilers, but it seems very confusing.
-
@sgoel01 try a little bit of everything, but what I highly recommend above all else, is see what companies are hiring and what they are looking for in a person. Steer your learning in that direction

sgoel015978y@tisaconundrum Then I guess I would definitely have to learn about database. Many jobs out there that requires good working knowledge with both relational as well as NoSql. And yes it's a little difficult to find opportunities for me. But I will get there :)
