It sucks, but chalk it up to experience and be glad it was 3 weeks. I've seen that happen on projects where team members have burned the midnight oil for *years* only to have the project cancelled one day.

3 weeks seems like peanuts. Just now a project was dropped after 6 months of sweat... Fuck Rona

@AlmondSauce yeah but the sad thing is I can't even get a chance to showcase my work anymore.
-
@AlmondSauce that's why some developers just do grunt work and not have passion anymore. Do the grunt work and wait for the salary lol.

Sometimes projects get dropped. Happened earlier in the year for myself as well. Best thing is to not get attached to your code.

arekxv10543yI was working 2 weeks on an xml import implementation which is a small project unto itself with the sole purpose to be the fallback solution if the other team using a mapping software doesn't finish on time. I finished way before them with a working solution, fixed their mistakes in the mapping during my work.
They ended up being late but they still used their mapping solution and all my work was for nothing. So yeah, those things happen.
Breakup and all hurts
But have you ever experienced you're working fucking hard on a project in your company for 3 weeks and suddenly they drop the idea for a new feature implementation ?
Trust me it feels so much fucking demotivated .
Idk what to say now
