Don't. There is no JavaScript out there left to learn. It's all hypescript now with bad quality libraries, frameworks and maldesigned patterns. Might as well wait another year or two until people will start to distanciate themselves from the mess they've created.

Learn vanilla JavaScript properly and you will thank yourself years down the road.

@W1ckeD yeah, right? Vanilla must be a somewhat safe skill to acquire. I just remember taking notice to what Matt Mullenweg said a few years ago: 'learn JavaScript. Deeply' 😎 even tho a gap was created when ecma6 happened
