    1. do not kill yourself
    2. consider to expand your search field on other job types: some job may be better than no job at all. for example an office job may bring you to their it department over time.

i am no psychological expert so i sadly cannot help with your depression. i can tell you though that i had a suicide in my family and it was horrible. you only have one life. try to not throw it away.

    keep save bro!

it may be related with risk. but you can always try out freelancing or starting an online side hussle.
    could be worth a consideration.
an online business has the advantage that you can act globally. so even if the economy in your country is not that good you can still reqch out to countries with better health.
i am no expert but if your side hussle makes about 300 dollars that should get you some rupees to survive?

@rutee07 yes in india most families are tight-knit, they all live together....i am planning to go some other place with my wife once i get some experience and high salary later on...

Bhai, jo bhi karna, khudko khatam nahi karna.

You get one life. I am not trying to preach anything here. I relate to you. I know how difficult it gets. I know exactly how you feel. The only thing that keeps me going is “Don’t give up”. I know it fucking hurts. A pain you can’t even show. I know all this. Just keep at it. I am sending all the prayers to your side. Love.

Less than 7 may be 5k. Also security deposit is just one month rent. But only 4-5 good paying companies available.

@notSoCoolGuy 5k is good....i'll see ....i will apply to jaipur based companies, lets see how it goes, i hope my wife gets a good call center job there as well...

Since most people already gave really good ideas about how to try and fix the job problem, I'll try to adress the depression.

I have a friend who had a burnout and depression. What helped her most is to get into a good day rhythm. A fixed schedule with fixed wakeup and bed times. Try to find one positive thing in your day. And be it something small, like, "I had a nice coffee". That will be enough to make your brain think more positive over time. I know it sounds stupid but it helps.

Job wise: Try other fields. Teaching is hard but can be very rewarding. Try looking on a global scale for jobs. As a dev home office is a good option worlwide.

Otherwise: Keep going strong. You will find a job and it will work out for you. Don't give up. And if you feel like you need to talk or vent to random people, we are here :)

Don't give up man. Keep applying, studying and practicing. These are tough times anyway, just don't give up.
You've got in-demand skills and seem like a smart guy. It's only a matter of time before things work out.
Are you only looking for jobs, or also paid internships? That might be a good route to work towards a job too
  • 1
@karanp3 hi, i just started applying for internships on internshala site. I am applyng for those internships which offer atleast 10k and above. I am avoiding the low paying ones though...tommorrow there's an interview for an internship at 8pm, lets hope everything works out...

    1) Kill yourself, your wife's life becomes immeasurably worse. So cross that option offa your Hello Kitty Strategies notes, m'kay? 2) You are alive because you are an important link in a chain. It doesn't matter if you are unaware as to what your purpose in that link is, but you take yourself out it will have a ripple cluster fuck effect that you will witness, and feel. You feel bad now? The damage you inflict by taking yourself out will make the shit you feel now seem like an eyelash falling down your cheek. The pathway out of this crap that's going on is right in front of your eyes. Open them and get on with it.
