When you have a 7Mbps ADSL and your brother keeps loading Tv series:
- 192.168.1.1
- QoS
- YOUR_MAC_ADDRESS priority=MAX
- HIS_MAC_ADDRESS priority=MIN

Well, now begin to complain that the connection is slow.

    @aronnebrivio @ambroambro Damn guys I feel sorry for you. I've been on a 4,8 until 2014

    @jerjer At least I have a symmetrical 1Gbps connection at work ahah

    @jerjer @ambroambro we can't do anything. Unfortunately the last mile of the network is an old copper one and the law does not force providers to grant the band to be as the one for which we pay (as is the electicity) here in Italy

    Slovakia, an undeveloped country inside europe. Yet we have 100mbit almost everywhere. At home I have 350/50 for a few bucks, at school we have 100/100, wifi has 45/10.. 4g lte in mobile. Well thats only because we have been tested years ago as a first country with optical internet. Funny when you compare all the tech with how our schools/government/whatever look like and behave. Sorry for long post

    The slowest connection I can get is 125/50 through coax :o (Denmark)

    @devs If you're lucky you can get 0 Mbps for 30-40 euros here in Italy lol

    If you are lucky enough to be born in a big city so you would probably have a decent internet connection like, uhm... 60~100Mps?
    (Well ok I'm Milan there is a Vodafone 1Gbps but It's very rare)

    If you live just out of the city you'll probably have a 20Mbps, but if you, like me, are at 10km from a city...
    You are lucky if you don't have a 56Kbps :P #sosad

    In Denmark it's the other way around. I live in the city where I can't get more than 200-300 mbit. The countryside however have got the highest priority on upgrades the last few years, so most places on the country side you can have a fiber connection and get 1000/1000
