mundo0349794y@Cyanide Synergy is a good word with a good meaning when used properly.
Sinergy is ehat happens when all the fucking team uses whatever ticketing system properly and know how ti communicate and work asynchronously.
The perfect work environment is the one that has zero useless meetings and every collaboration just works, communication flows at whatever time and everyone knows how to use the tools, that is synergy. -
Hm, synergy looked up in a thesaurus (source cambridge):
"the combined power of a group of things when they are working together that is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately:
Team work at its best results in a synergy that can be very productive."
As an better example: If you refactor a library, you could include in the planning process to not only modify the code... But look at which libraries the code utilizes, if they are out of date / not actively maintained and so on.
If you'd skip that step, you could end up with double the work, as you didn't migrate to the latest version of used libraries. -
@IntrusionCM Karl Marx said that the division of labor creates a synergy which results in a gratis surplus of labor. And that surplus is pure profit which belongs to the capitalist.
-
mundo0349794y@heyheni so what you are saying is Marx advocated for the Unicorn Developer, no specialists means no labor divisions, hence inefficiency in big businesses resulting in less profit for the capitalists and higher paid for the Unicorns.

@mundo03 Go read the history and economist book "Das Kapital" (the capital) and find out yourself. You may even find it on Spotify as a audio book.
It has nothing to do with ideology. The book just describes how things went and is surprisingly relevant today even after 138 years after it was released.
You'll learn a lot. 😊
Every time I hear the word "trailblazing" I throw up a little. Even beats "synergy" as a useless, demonic corporate buzzword.
