Like annoyed or upset sure but that just makes me want to leave for a better place ... hurt them.

Many, many times.
And I have on a few occasions, too! At least on the top of the head.

One in particular comes to mind: My boss refused to make a decision and we were quickly running out of time. I bopped him on the head with a rolled up magazine, and that somehow got his brain working again. I don’t remember the details other than just how satisfying the feeling and “whap” sound was.

On another occasion with that same boss, he refused to come up with ideas for a logo. We sat there discussing it for twenty some minutes and he kept shooting down my suggestions. Soooo I told him that if he didn’t come up with an idea, I would make the new logo a poptart with sprinkles. He kind of looked annoyed at me, but still didn’t offer any suggestions. So, I started making the poptart logo right there in front of him. He got mad, but did start giving me ideas :)

(The logo ended up being some really lame star motif. The poptart was much prettier!)

What if I told you I hit them?

Sometimes, yelling with rage is the only thing that seems to work

I'm not recommending this behavior anyhow. It certainly depends on the mood and how bad/costly their mistakes are. It could backfire as well, so proceed with caution

I don't even remember why anymore. Guess it was a PTSD project, and it was obvious from the beginning it would end in PTSD.

Except that I remember that we hang up a poster to hide it and whenever chef entered the room and tried to pull a stunt the situation mostly ended up with the whole room staring at the poster.

Sadly it didn't stop him from his profound dumbness.
