@ChappIO oh, so this isnt something special? I always get told, that 4d arrays are complicated af
-
ChappIO46978y@linuxer4fun well it's complicated at first. But once you get used to the models they are okay.
-
Can someone explain how are they complicated and what use case is there for 4D arrays? I'm interested now
-
@Positive07 they are complicated , because you cant imagine them... 3D il imagineable, but 4D not
-
@linuxer4fun just picture time! 5D is harder... I can (with some difficulty) imagine 4D, yet it's better to forget about a dimension when working with 4D stuff, or at least having a good idea about the operations you need to perform.
I had a curse on vector fields and differential calculus which I thought was gonna be a pain and was actually really satisfactory! So I kinda enjoy this stuff hahaha -
You just keep applying different attributes past 3rd dimension, such as point weight or colour value, yes Hello I'm Chuck Norris
