kpenc21328yEveryone use Kali and they don't know why... Every app that's on Kali can be installed on every other distribution.
-
personally if you use kali exclusively you shouldn't have the right to call yourself an hacker, while I'll admit kali has alot of good tooling installed on it most people that use it only use 3 or 4 programs on it and don't understand how they work. as far as I see it you might as well setup a system from scratch and install what you use than have all that extra bloat, the best part of doing it this way is if you do it right you can protect yourself better than kali can from the start

Either that or just follow a tutorial and wonder why a wordlist of 10 lines doesn't kick anything up xD

Just to clarify: The guy I'm talking about is a classmate of mine who recently got into Python and just installed Kali on an USB-stick because <sarcasm>obviously that's what every hacker needs</sarcasm> and to feel cool.
Kali is obviously not something essential to hacking, though it's nice to have all the tools already installed, especially when you only have a live USB. -
Jifuna37418y@ANyanCatFan I understand what you mean. I did that as well, just to learn more about the programms and about hacking in general.

Just don't advertise yourself as a hacker. I call myself script_kitty.
I think it is toor.
