Just goes to show that schools don't prepare students for real life.. 😒

I hope copy-paste is still possible?

WTH is wrong with those guys, if someone needs to use SO is because they want to do it better o the teachers are really bad at explaining or helping.

Well, my school blocks ANY kind of forum (including SO), the Tor protocol and a lot of its relays, the Tox protocol, you name it. Stupid idiots

New student goes to that school, has issue, Google's the issue and finds a stack overflow link that exactly describes the issue.
Tried to click link, but it fails.
Student Google's"how to access blocked sites". Finds another perfect SO link describing a workaround. Student clicks the link, but another failure.
    Student switches to another school.

@Lel00 They *tried* to block Tor, but then I discovered they forgot to block PowerShell so I made a workaround.

I bought a lifetime VPN, no more blocked anything... Unless they block VPNs

As much as schools blame sites like Stack overflow and possibly gist/github for copy pasta, these resources help students so much in learning how things work. Sorry but you cannot expect students to read documentation and figure everything out themselves, they need a sense of direction which most schools don't provide. The lecturers and tutors are useless at times and books are ancient and expensive.
