My friend started giving me advice without me even asking. She didn't listen why I chose to do something but kept on saying it's a wrong decision and why I will regret.
I asked to some people in my network and they agreed with me.
During the conversation with my friend, I felt very furious ans once tried to stop her calmly but she didn't listen, in the end I hung up by saying that I'll talk to her later and ended the conversation without getting into shitty conversation.

You should throw your phone out the window. You'll regret if you don't.

Stay away from everyone who discourage you.
This is the best decision I should’ve done before. But never is too late.

That was a horrible decision, let me tell you why.

Let's jump into a 1:1 call over teams and I'll tell you. Ofc face-cam is mandatory as you need more social contact too! I'll tell you all of this on the call at 11am tomorrow.

@rutee07 Not very happy and dependent on her family.

@rutee07 Actually I listened to her in the past and it was always a mistake. My ex boyfriend once got really angry and did something that scared me. I was not in love so I wanted to break up immediately but I listened to her and she said it's not a big deal and all, listening to her was a mistake. Anyway I broke up with the guy after 2 months.

Ironically people try to give free advice on how to handle her... This isn't that.

Conviction and intelligent/informed don't have to go hand in hand. Unfortunately it's quite the opposite.

The most vehement are often easily convinced of something and are afraid to admit when they are wrong. So they stick with it.
They don't even know they are scared of being wrong, just justify everything and defend till death.
Last year has lost of examples. There was a radio host who argued covid-19 was a farce and uphold that to the end even though he died from it...

@hjk101 This is sad. People take these things to new level. They are very defensive when it comes to being challenged.
