Taught by managers who are too eager to hold "meetings which could have been emails", developers have now fully succumbed to holding "webinars which could have been a readme".

    Word. I like my bosses, but they're guilty. I guess managers make up BS work for themselves too to fill out the day.

    Usually because someone that never read / reply any email, and some people that don't know readme is exist

    @sarafe The annoying thing is that more and more often it's "You wanna use our product? Sign up for our webinars here!"

    Then my response is "Yeah I don't feel like using your product anymore".

    Your SDK, library or SaaS platform just needs good text documentation, and optionally some videos. I don't want to plan a fucking zoom call, or get a tour, or sit through classes. Respect your customer's time dammit.

    @bittersweet lol, that different from what I imagine..
    Because you know for me sometime I just like meeting to avoid or extend deadline. And in my team there one person that never ending asking "why?" To every explanation very funny to listen lol
