Can you still improve your java without this study? Getting yourself into a loan when you already have no buffer would probably mean that you have to work an awfull lot after the study to get some finacial security again.
I'm afraid because of the constant stress that this gives you might start to dislike the work. I know that would happen for me.
Doing the study is the fun thing. But try to picture in wich situation it will land you. -
So you got a sheet saying "I can do java"? Not worth it, it doesn't have the value of a degree. If you want to apply for a job, send them code or your github or a list of references, worth much more

Seeing your other post I would recommend taking some. Is their already an end in sight with the workload?
Because I think you need some rest before starting again. I did not do that some time ago. Doing a study, working for 5 clients. But at somepoint I was just empty. I would sit in front of the pc no matter how much I wanted it I could not get any work done. It took me halfyear to get back to doing full days. A halfyear gone. But you can probably feel it better where that point is for you. But it sounds like a burnout is just waiting around the corner if you do not change anything.

Should I study or not.
I'm in a rut, yet again. I have an opportunity to start a java certification. The course is going to cost me quite a bit, and i will have to loan from the bank. At the moment I'm struggling financially, but my dreams are set on programming.
Should I take it, or do I negate the risk and do what I'm comfortable with.
