When your project manager accepts a contract with a client with a hard deadline but the time needed is nearly twice.

See it as a compliment they think you're really good.

Thanks for your comments. I have to say it's not entirely the fault of my management but also of the client. They change their requirements on a daily basis and managed to communicate the scope of the project when it was already too late. We will manage to deliver but it will be as bad as it could possibly get. And this is the main frustration point if you write bad code and you know it but can't change anything because of the deadline.

@chris115379 That's really bad to hear. Feature creep can be a pain to deal with. I wish you luck for your project.

@aronmik Legally? Probably not. Mostly something like that is done through pressure from other sources. Many people will fall for that, as they are afraid that they lose their job or the workplace will become a living hell for them.
