Today one of the more junior back-end devs told us, that he doesn’t plan to do front-end, because he doesn’t want to make design.

He basically told us that in his view FE devs do design work and that’s it.

What the f**? We have designers for that. Front-end devs are not the ones who make design. Reaaad uupp, boy

    Just another instance of BE dev showing his superiority over FE developers. Cool beans, but we are talking about PWA development, so your work isn’t anything special either.

    Manager: oh, so you know FE development? Good. Design the graphics please. How hard it would be to learn Photoshop anyways.

    Manager elsewhere: oh, so you design web pages in Photoshop? Good. Make it live on production by end of next month. How hard would it be to put it in browser anyway.

    There are a lot of backend devs who have to do DBA, DevOps, or even the generic Server Administration, work too.
    And there are a lot of frontend devs, who also have to do design.
    Maybe, the junior dev heard about that...
