Best exercises for lower back pain?
Also, standing desk - do they prevent it?

There is one that I used to do with a special foam thingy. I would put it in the floor, then lay on my back on it and roll.

I would seriously suggest going with an actual trained medical professional for this man :/

For me exercise in general helps with muscle pain. Got back from a workout, 20 mins cardio and feel great but that’s just me. Everyone is different, but yeah as was said, your first step is to call your doc

And back pain SUCKS BALLS. It’s damn debilitating at times

Look up inner core muscle exercise. These look good, but they can be too difficult depending on your condition. https://yurielkaim.com/core-stabili...

Make sure you keep your inner core tight (~stomach pulled in) when doing these. If you can't keep it, take a break or do some easier alternative. Remember to breathe normally. And don't do anything if it hurts.

Aside from bad posture, back pain can also be a result of weak legs. Try also to adding some squats to your routine.

Another cause of lower back pain can be short hip flexors. Quad and hip flexor stretches will remedy if this is the cause.

Also, back pain is almost never a serious medical condition, and will be helped by pretty much any exercise - walking, ab workouts, stretching, anything. Occasionally standing at your desk might even be enough.

Nope, I’m quite lean and muscular.
It’s most definitely a bad posture, which I hope to prevent with a standing desk, lol

Check your waist. A lot of people doing office jobs can have pelvic tilt. Check some exercises on youtube.

Also check your neck, shoulders and posture in general. If one part of your posture is not correct, it will affect other parts.
