DEVil6669174y@ScriptCoded I’m happy to share knowledge too but I’d rather do it in focused sessions rather than being forced to do my job over Microsoft Teams and when it comes to learning I really struggle to learn watching others (even video courses are complicated to follow for me), I’d rather have a book/manpages/other written material

dan-pud8594yPairing/mobbing is also about coming together to get the best solution, not just one person's.
I personally find it great -
nibor48774yHardly hipster, pair programming was a thing when hipsters could only dream of the day thay could grow a handlebar moustache or a full beard

sariel85314yTried pair programming at work. Nobody could follow me. I context switch too quickly and talk too fast.
It does work for some people though.
Point is, maybe we just suck at it?
If that is the case, that's ok. -
like other "agile" stuff, pair programming can be really valuable. But if you just do it for the sake of having to adopt fancy shit, it might get in your way and slow down work, like when pairing for the most mundane routine tasks together with a a nerd that does not like to talk a lot

DEVil6669174y@dan-pud on hard problems@craig939393 I’d rather say that I favor other way of collaborating 🙂
