Android studio is a piece of shit. One day it works as expected, the next day I keep having to run ”clean project” 54 times before it decides that it wants to make a good build.

This shit happened so many times that now I just go straight away to clean and then build. I know the feelz.

It's not really Android Studio per se. It's Gradle. 99% of the time it's 100% Gradle's fault.

I suppose that distinction doesn't really make a difference when you're tearing your hair out (which we've all done), but there it is.
