Hazarth95214yLet them myseriously disappear under myaterious circumstances involving some drinking, a hammer, some tape, some raw meat and 13 pet rats
Don't ask me about this strange accident any further -
@UnicornPoo Agreed. If someone posts a rant about me, at least provide some details
-
@UnicornPoo Right. Here ya go. Person X does NOT reply. Skype, Teams or Zoom, she just doesn’t reply. Only time I’ve seen her talk is during meetings with the lead. Especially difficult for me since she has developed much of earlier functionality. Person Y and Z almost always give conflicting answers largely because of ignorance towards technicalities. Person A, the supreme lead is always offline, only time to find him online is between 12-2am.
I’m new to this project, Salesforce causes enough problems on its own, these folks just worsen it. I haven’t seen an error free deployment day in the last month with tours team. -
hobblin2084y@bizAnalyst general rule #x: if a person makes it harder for you to do your job and aren't willing to listen to what you have to say, take it up with whatever boss you have in common. Either they pay you to have to compensate for your colleagues faults or they are expecting you to do unpayed labor.
Rule #x+1: Never do unpayed labor on the request from others, only do it when it's for your personal benefit as a person. -
@bizAnalyst You raise these points in standups. "Hey, I'm blocked on this task until X has some time to walk me through A, B and C. X, when's best to meet?" And "I'm getting conflicting info on D. Y and Z, can the three of us put aside some time to resolve?"
If they don't agree to that in standup then it's clear they're being arses to the team, and your manager can get involved. -
From the description it seems there's lack of organization and no defined rules. Reminds me of my previous place where every team had different approach while working on the same problems... Its usually because the people on higher positions are not there because they earned the place. My advice is, stop to be bothered, look for a different place. Wish you the best.
