Same here. I love to take a break and just cook for my wife.

I had a teacher that used cooking as a comparison to programming to teach the basic notions to students. Both have some core similarities, such as having to analyse and divide your problem in small concise steps and work up from that, doing one at a a time. Finally producing a tasty cake.. Or a good piece of software. 😀
