Best way to validate email addresses:
Test whether it contains "@".

Need to really verify that address?
Send an actual email to it - make the user click a unique link contained in the email body.

Don't try to create a complete regex for an email address! Don't copy "correct" regexes for email address validation - they are _all_ wrong in one way or the other (sometimes as subtle as only denying top-level domains - you will not find that with casual testing)!
