if you're poor and that's your way out of poverty why not?
For example the median income in Nepal is $750 per YEAR! That's $2 a day. Do you think you would not eat for 10 days just to watch one paid udemy course? @muamanulla ? -
@heyheni makes sense but you can watch other tutorials that are free if you want.. there are lot of free but good stuff right? I am from a "poor country" that's why I pirate movies but my brother never let me pirate stuff related to education
-
eo287540013y@muamanulla paid courses have better quality I guess. You can of course learn anything by reading the source code but that's not always the best approach
-
@muamanulla If the free stuff was as useful as the paid stuff nobody would pay for udemy courses.
-
I've no problem with this whatsoever. I'd be quite happy if all courses were on a "pay as you're able" basis. Chances are, the less you can afford, the more you need it.
-
Everything in programming has two tutorials one is free one is paid. If you're interested want to learn you even can learn from reading documentation and watching YouTube tutorials. If you're affordable to paid course you can do that too. Choice is yours but pirating course should be least and last option acceptable in cases of unemployed or poor people.

Piracy is the only option in the modern day hellscape of courses costing hundreds of dollars.
I watch pirated movies but is it just me who feels really weird that people even pirate udemy courses? I'm not saying pirating movies is a good thing but pirating study materials... Man it's a weird feeling 😅
