So my 3 and a half year relationship ended today and I’m not okay. The relationship ended on good terms but I’m alone for the first time in a long time and I don’t know what to do. I’m so fucking sad and I have a few friends that I can talk to but It doesnt fill this void that I feel.

Had the same situation several years ago. And yet I know no words to say.

In sad times you should do something else to make your thoughts focus on something else at hand instead of ruminating.

I'm sorry to hear that. Heartbreak is a bitch beyond comparison.

I am trying to impress a girl for 2 years, still no success and we are about to shift
    It hurts

@iiii just probably going to code a lot and grind in video games

@Eklavya I’m sorry to hear that friend

@Eklavya forget about it, man. If you could not hook her for a couple of months it's most probably a dead end.

@Bubbles can work out as well, to make yourself more attractive to future mates.

@iiii honestly I’ve been thinking about starting to and I might use it as distraction

@Eklavya that's a bitch of a situation. had a similar thing with my course mate at uni. had a crush which never went anywhere but bugged me for 2 years because we were forced to see each other and there was no way around it.

@Bubbles dude just spend time with your friends and don’t try to think on past , try to avoid and
make new friends, build some conversations and just chill 🍷

I see the green dot support army has arrived.

In all seriousness, that sucks dude, but I'm sure there are better things ahead

This is absolutely a joke to cheer you up. The most effective way to handle this is keeping yourself busy. Be it video games, netflix, working out, anything. Just don't think about it.

    @10Dev the army is effective

@hack I’m definitely going to attempt to distract myself as much as I can
  • 1
@Bubbles That's a good way to go. The distraction is for temporary respites for gathering well being so you can intentionally look at your past actions and pain to help you move on (intentionally). Pain sucks but it does fade with time and something better may be waiting for you.

@arcadesdude yeah it’s hard to imagine getting better at the moment but I know it will
