    Only worth it if you have virtualization for graphics

    It's also awesome to be able to move virtual machines around from host to host :)

    @vortexman100 This should be possible, I've done this on VMs with different OSs en distros, but it can be quite difficult. I might have some manuals though...

    @Hel8y The problem were not that it werent possible, but that for some reason VM doesnt know how many file are on their file system. So i haf 50 GB of files there, vmware says its 100, well shit.

    @vortexman100 You have to use the converter tool.

    @drRoss Thanks, but im not going back. There were also the problem that ESXi wouldnt allow me to give one vm 16 cores, which meant that 4k on the fly rendering were to slow.

    @drRoss oh, it's just the name of the vm. It's the regular Ubuntu but it's just a fresh install that I use for testing of my dotfiles. I didn't know about snapshots when I first started creating VMs, so I had to make a new one just for this. Snapshots are awesome btw, it's one of the main reasons why I use virtualbox over vmware

    @NMerz who doesn't

    *runs to install MINIX*

    @ocab19
    Not sure if you know by now. You can create snapshots in VMware.

    @QuantumAtom I thought it was only possible in the full version.
    Also I still prefer virtualbox anyway
