It's nice to talk with someone after work who understands what you are doing.

I've got a girlfriend that has never written any code. And I think it's a good thing for a relationship, as you can just shut down and relax. There ain't no discussion about languages or algorithms. We do talk about work and I'll tell her what I'm working on but without boring details. She does the same about her work.

@serpent5 nope, since she works as an optician and in retail mostly she tells me about anoying customers :P
