My desk is next to the main printer at my work. Everyone thinks that my desk is there specifically to fix their problems. Eventually, I wrote a sign in crayon (because printing would imply I have used it) "I can't fix your printer"

I fixed my grandmother's printer last week remotely. I had her unplug it and plug it back in after 30 secs lol.

I wish I could upvote this a thousand times.

Also, every Tom Dick and Harry wants to know "oh can you help me write an app", because of course I don't actually have a day job....

My teachers always ask us for the most ridiculous things just because we are in an IT course.

No teacher, I can't login to your son's Facebook account just because you want to know what he's up to with his friends.
