Yep. Need something changed, sprinkle some !important's all over your CSS and you're good to go!
-
Thats a bad mentality... as HTML gets interpeted, maybe the browser of a few indian tech scammers won't show the site properly.
-
Great mentality. Fuck standards! Who cares that visually impaired people can't use your site, as their screen reader chokes on the shit fest that is your source code.

RTRMS36908yDevelopers with standards.
Developers who take pride in their work.
The visually impaired.
The next Dev who has to suffer under your poor standards and lack of pride in your work.
Your manager when said Dev goes to tell him about your poor standards and lack of pride.
You when you manager passes you up for promotion/increase and decides you do not need your bonus as you do not care about your job as you are unable to perform the simplest and most basic of development tasks.
Your girlfriend because you can no longer afford to take her to nice places as thanks to inflation you now earn less than you used too.
Your next potential employer when he scans your portfolio and views the source code and rather takes the guy with less experience but takes pride in his work and has hugger standards. -
I disagree. Beautiful HTML code can do wonders for your application, do wonders while styling and greatly benefit the SEO of the website :)

doz874308yAnd this is the very beginning of where it starts to go wrong and what results in a bad developer. If you can't get the easy stuff right, what hope is there for you do get the hard stuff right. Also, I believe in development there is only right and wrong, there are definitely different perspectives one what is right but what you're describing is just plain wrong

Maintainability dude, maintainability! This might hurt but if you will continue that mindset no one will like you on the team.

Obviously I've struck a nerve. My rant was intended as a comment on how making complex layouts in HTML feels like youre just hacking some shitty code together because of all the weird, obscure tricks you need to use to get it *juust* right. Ive been writing HTML for five years, it was my first language, this post isnt the beginning of the end for me, lets all chill, okay? ❤
HTML: Who cares if it's written properly, as long as it works correctly!
