Has anyone ever wanted to quit as programmer?

Yeah, this last year I have been thinking about doing something else. Just something that does not involve coding.

It's not so much the "does not involve coding" part that I'm concerned about... on the contrary. I wish all the other bullshit would go away so that I can just focus on coding!

Couldn't find a new job. Now i'm a mailman and programm as a hobby. Less stress, more fun programming.

I'm down with that! Especially if you've been job hunting and you can't something that suits you, or if you're not a fitting in with the company.

Problem though is that a mailman doesn't quite earn what a programmer does... gotta pay the bills!
