Most av scanners are shit these days, most block our installer because their central server doesn't see enough downloads a day. Yeah really gonna get those if it keeps getting blocked for no other reason than that their av software is so shitty the only way to prevent virusses is to block everything..

Avast is not known for false positives. Just sayin'

Maybe try a virustotal scan on the file it found. Just in case :P

Simple solution. Don't bog down your system and time with an antivirus app. I've been running without one for many years without a single problem. All it takes is some common sense.

Malware bytes is all you need since v3 dropped.
