Both are Microsoft. Why not make a change?

As if your code matters anything to them

    Azure Devops uses gitlab

@black-kite, but with a usable interface (using gitlab for first time at new job, the ui is pants)

What is your refusal based on?

I just tested out azure devOps just now for the first time after reading this rant and I have to say, I like it, I may start migrating some of my private no-collaboration codes here

I hate Microsoft! So I use Microsoft!

Very likely the individual doing the demo, but my experience with git de-evolved into the presenter having a hero complex about developing code at the command prompt and anyone using an IDE was sub-human (aka, not a 'real' developer).

If I can click 'Merge' and my code merges, I'm good. I get no rush from spending hours on stackoverflow, etc searching for the right combination of command line switches in order for my users to be happy. YMMV.
