Super easy on Linux! Never needed to install anything. Just plug and use. If it's so annoying boot Ubuntu from a USB and print from there..

Printers are evil. Spending years in IT only further demonstrated that fact.

@YousifMansour Alot of network printers need proprietary software to set then up - which is almost always only provided for Windows. Setting up WLan modems to support printer sharing is than a whole different story - I just spend 2 hours doing that

@YousifMansour same applies to me and windows. Never had any issues with printers whatsoever, plug and play.
