nebula18133yno it will not end poverty.
simply spoken you have a pool of people that throw their whole unneeded net worth into a pod.
then you take fron that pod as it is needed like in this example for buying a house.
if the house does not result in being owned by the pool, the pool just lost value in form of the money that where taken. and if you repeat this process the value will magically shrink.
let's just assume that out of 10k people, 1k will get a house and the money in the pool is now empty.
It only works if the receipents of the money give something back so that the loss in value is compensated by time.
this idea however is not new. and adopted forms of this are present even in the simplest forms of communities. like a small family.
the parents make savings and build assets. and if their children someday want to build a house, the parents help in form of labor and money. if done correctly, the portfolio of that family increases.
would write more but chars are limited :-/ -

let us assume we find a system where money is equally shared in a community, so that everyone receives the same cut from the cake and people participating are constantly paying into that pool so it does not drown.
we still have the human part here. the past and also the present teach us, that humans are assholes. and humans will for sure fuck up this system at some point.
if humankind was not such a pile of shit we would not even need such systems -
Oh fuck you for posting the same video !
