I'm facing weird behavior. I have an app on Android 7 always received notifications evven if not used for a week.

On Android 9 if not used for three days it stops receiving anything.

Anyone knows what could be wrog?

    Different push notification token expiry lengths for the newer android version?

    @Root assuming it's expiring, service in the app should run and send tooen to server.

    Ironically enough on Android 10 it's not happening, not sure about 11

    Sounds like some aggressive power saver. Is it stock android or some manufacturer-customized abomination?

    @electrineer stock Android , so you're saying system is putting app to deep sleep if not used for some time?

    @gitpush That’s not how “irony” works.

    @Cyanide o don't know what works anymore 😅

    @gitpush At least it's one possibility. You could try disabling battery optimisation for the app, or adaptive battery for the whole system.
