Node.js or php

I personally prefer node.js, I find you can do a lot more with it over php.

depends on how large your app will be on serverside
talked to a lot of node.js des and almost all of them said, it's pretty awesome for small apps, but gets a pain in the ass if you have to write middle or large apps with it

+90% of devs today (at least devs who hang out at forums like this) would say Node

The other 10% would say "What about python and {some other language}?"

Uh no real developer uses php

@wtfloo I develop C/C++ and if i had to chose a web language it would always be nodejs > php.
