I don't even know what this is. But - it's over... but I can renew...

But what about my hotel discounts!?

Do they provide a grace period before purging your data?

@asgs They used to for a year or so, but that may have gone when they removed the free stuff from Google photos.

@asgs purging - and Google? Oh, dear, you should know better than to connect these dots.

@vintprox well, I should've put it this way - how long before they say the data are inaccessible to us

@AlmondSauce If I remember correctly it's not like your storage quota usage would be raised for Google Photos unlimited end, but rather that new ones would account for your quota. The ones that are still in the cloud shouldn't account for storage usage

@StopMotionCuber Oh I know, I just feel like it was an unrelated chance they made around the same time. Don't quote me on that though.

Yeah. All that / but also - I didn't decide to "go." So, their system is just hooked up to an old card or something. Google is just getting bigger and shittier all the time. They don't even know what is happening with their systems. They're so dumb, that they are - deciding not to take my money. That - or so dark / that they are kicking me out so that they can make sure I'm not grandfathered into anything. Probably a bit of both.

@sheriffderek I had troubles with buying a subscription for the past few weeks. Used to reject all my payment methods

I think your rant served as a reminder. I retried and it worked yesterday
