Studying for a MTA Certification(HTML5 Web Application Development Fundamentals) that I'm going to take in a few weeks! If anyone has any advice for the test and studying let me know, and if you have the certification, what should I be focusing my studies on?

I have 3 cert and I'm telling you, don't focus on that. If you're junior or still in school, it will help you greatly get your first job(s). After about 3 years they'll be completely irrelevant, and only xp will matter.
Unless you focus on those super hard and rare certificatetions. But most aren't.

They're more of a catalyst for your first experience or some little boost against competition. Keep that in mind. In my case I have more job offers than competition so they're completely irrelevant, I don't know how it is for web. I've been told by my employer that someone with a lot of work or xp shouldn't have time for cert, which makes someone with a lot of cert surprisingly less attractive because he had time he shouldn't have had. Food for thought.

That being said I' m not gonna lie, it feels really good to acknowledge your skills. If you want to pursue it, I suggest you climb the steps of the same cert tree, the one described in the little pyramid drawn on the website.

@Zilounay I completely understand but my school I go to is a vocational school and I'm going to be taking the certifications for free so I only planned to get like a few and be done with it. And I agree that the experience is very important!

@Bubbles well if it's free and inside your work time than I see no reason to do it ;]
