It takes me longer to write a cover letter than it would to write an app that generates customized cover letters.

Yea... I was really interested in a job once, but required a cover letter, so I never applied. =p (still happy where I'm at though, so it wasn't really an issue.)

@emes001 I was just auto rejected by their application system. It was 10:30pm local time and I got a response in 5 minutes:

"After a competitive review process, we have decided to proceed with other candidates..."

Competitive? Nobody in HR is still working at this hour and it was 5 effing minutes! (this should have been it's own rant)

Sorry to hear about the auto rejection. But, on to bigger and better opportunities!

@emes001 It's all good, I have a job, but this one sounded pretty cool. I'm just shocked that they didn't think to implement some kind of scheduling or delay in the system to make it look like someone actually read your resume, lol.
