My hands and wrists hurt every night. I do all this bs to mitigate pain. I'm a healthy young guy and am ready for the chronic pain to be gone.

RSI is a real problem in this industry. you have to take a break EVERY 15 minutes NO MATTER WHAT. And stretch your hands even when it hurts... been through it. takes discipline. also where a wrist brace at night.

Starting to feel the effects of RSI for the past weeks, and I gotta say... It's kinda scary...

I was lucky enough to go on paternity leave for 8 months after living with that situation for a while and during that time I hardly used any electronic devices ... Make sure you tend to it asap, it will only get worse. and no it won't solve itself if you continue doing what you are doing.

Look into ergonomics and how you are using your wrists and hands. Let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I use Penetrex for topical anti-inf, ergo setup, and workout/stretch regularly. It's waaaaay better than 2 years ago when I was working 70 hours at another startup. It use to be pain in fingers, thumbs, and wrists; now just wrists. So, I'm moving forward, but it's frustrating when it stops you from sleeping. I'll invest in some wrists straps for night. Any suggestions would be amazing!
