Most obscurely technical would be
Interconnection Networks by William Dally and Brian Towles I guess -
ezpz7453yI have one called Pickaxe Microcontroller Projects for The Evil Genius. That might be it.

I regret not moving beyond the first few Chapters. Need to find it and spend some time. Thank you for the reminder π -
atheist99833y@anux it's... OK. It's really insightful, really interesting, but a bit dry/academic. I recommend for the content and the author, but is a slow read.

atheist99833y@Root dang it, I didn't include my copy of the complete works of plato. If we're going for best matured work, you might have me beat.

Root797733y@atheist Ha.
I wasn’t a fan of The Illiad, etc.
I kind of want copies of Shakespeare again, but need more shelf space. :< -
irene33913yDigital Design - M. Morris Mano
It is a m 1979 edition that is loaded with logic diagrams and explanations of how to build digital systems. Most of what we take as a given about computer operation today is not convention yet so it goes into detail about how to build things differently.
When I read it i think about how computers could have easily been on a different evolutionary path. -
atheist99833y@Root literally just got it because I wanted to read the origin of the socratic method.

@rutee07 sounds unfortunate, but understandable. Slight ambiguity - is it people who peddle philosophy who annoy you or philosophy itself?

The amount of books like these that I got rid of now exceeds the amount of books I own.
Most of them sat outside, unclaimed by anyone, until the rain took them to wet moldy book heaven (or they got taken to the dump).
My conclusion is that reading has no correlation to income.
I attend the Derrick zoolander school for kids who cant read good and want to do other things good too, and all I got was this lousy t shirt and two hundred books that I cant read good.
What's the nerdiest book in your bookcase?
