My school has a proxy to block games and some other sites. I was thinking of ways to get around, when I remembered, "I don't have to code anything, I can use google translate!"

You can use VPN to get around.

@H4RD-C0D3R my school blocked the one built-into opera, and don't allow you to connect to one thru window's settings.

@calmyourtities That's harsh man. So neither of obfuscation or port 443 works? That sucks.

@H4RD-C0D3R I was surprised they though of that. And I thought the same thing as you, the don't really think much of https being better then http. They really need to get their priorities in order. And today I found an extension called IE-On-Chrome, you can get some of the sites (there are two different proxies, I learnt a few days ago) that works fine, if you ok with using IE. I'll stick with Google Translate thank you very much.

You can buy a server(there are even free servers out there), and just install a "Web-Proxy". Just a very sinple PHP script, which displays you the page, which is blocked by your school.

@Gatgeagent I thought about that too, but I know that our school relies heavily on Google, and Google Translate, which is a web-proxy, is great because so far I've never seen them be able to block a sub domain. They've already blocked my personal website

I remember in school you could open a word doc in media play and it would launch IE and you could access everything
