crani8709yIT Crowd used to be my favorite sitcom. After working on an IT department of a Law Firm during my summer vacations it became my favorite documentary series.

I love how silicon valley have subtle humour and spoilers. If anyone has seen the latest episode, there is a GitHub account shown, that actually exists and what seems like as spoiler has just been released (as specific merge request has been merged). Pure genius.
-
Although it was pretty much pure "fiction", I also liked Chuck a lot. I named my home server Intersect after the series

pravvers109yThose are great suggestions, Silicon Valley and Mr Robot are my favs. The only show that is antithesis of "nerdy" culture is the Big Bang Theory. Boy is that show a hunk of crap.

moort43079y@pravvers its more geeky. And it did have jokes that require some knowledge and a brain. But a lot went mainstream to cater a broad audience.
They became more "normal" thanks to penny. Where penny became more geeky.
OK show but past its prime -
moort43079y@joeyclover 8 more (at time of writing)
I didn't even expect this. Yesterday at 1:30 I had like 16.
I woke up and bam. 92. -
philcr30549yI haven't seen me robot, but the other two are ace. Chuck Big Bang theory in there too

pravvers109y@zombie01 That's true. Not sure why I was bitter lol. Season 1-3 were pretty good, but then it started to become played out and I felt like it became more of a vanilla sitcom.

btw guys there is another show which I am sure all of you will like. TVF Pitchers. The best Indian web series reaching 25th rank on IMDB.

I'm half way through Season 2 of Mr Robot and I've finished all 3 seasons of Sillicon Valley. I didn't find IT Crowd that fun from what I've seen... Any more suggestions?
Series a developer should watch:
Mr. Robot
Silicon Valley
The IT crowd
