Can't believe this is happening, this way I'll ruin my vacations. I need to study for interviews. I need to stop. What's wrong seriously what's wrong. I have been so responsible these days but this. God!! I'm too dumb to handle this. My manager said that we shouldn't be the one doing the changes as we did our part already by communicating to them that were need they feature when they started developement. Why should we give the bandwidth. I'm scared that they will find out that they estimations I have were high, as this guy from my team is smart enough to finish the work. No one will trust me after it. I am on project finally where I can work on my own and I'm just ruining everything.

I remember that, once when it was Sunday night, and I worked both my weekends to do something. I was completely in stress and productivity was 0. I called up a stranger that night, instead of working, at 1AM I was talking to a guy living in some other country. I remember the panic I explained to him and I don't want to feel like that again.
I'm supposed to make mistakes, and I have given my genuine energy to this project. Even if the other guy can do it, I shouldn't bother myself and think it was like a mistake. That's it close it. My energy needs to be invested in my study right now, I need to switch. I need to take my work as my work and maximize my learning, if I won't make mistakes and also care about other's opinions I can never grow.
I'm trying to convince myself that everything is okay and I'm standing tall with myself. -
Is your team on fire? Is there a critical production issue only you can solve? Has the whole team quit aside from you? No? Then ignore those pings. If you must reply, then firmly reply something like:
"I'm currently on leave; feel free to put some time in my calendar to discuss this when I return."
That's it. Job done.
In a more general sense - the other guy in that team is likely shitting bricks because *he's* screwed up, that's why the estimates are high, and he's trying to palm the problem back on you or another team member. Don't let him.
Even so, absolute worst that happens here is you've over-estimated. No-one cares about that. Estimations are famously tough even when you've been working in this field for decades, so if that's the case, just shrug it off and move on. Anyone making a big deal out of something like that is a massive arse. -
You can not let yourself get stuck in that thinking, especially in vacation. You will burn yourself out and waste what little time you have for yourself for one and two nothing is as bad as it seems. You can't control others, so don't worry about what others think. If you're doing the best you can then rest easily. Easier said then done but that's my advice.

@AlmondSauce Yes, really I don't think this is something we should be doing anyway. Our team doesn't have bandwidth for this year and we cannot afford to take it up.
Their team did the mistake and seriously if the estimates are low for their team(he mentioned that efforts are 2-3 days according to them) then they SHOULD take this up. Because of this override our customers will have direct negative impact.
My manager said this exactly to me. But I'm here thinking that people cannot be that unreasonable. He's in senior management and my mind stopped me enough from thinking that he can be wrong but looking at the situation, yes he is being unreasonable here.
So I'm on PTO for a week, and there is some feature for which I gave the estimations to the other team. That team thinks that eastimates are high and I'm getting pinged to think about it.
First of all they did the overriding of some feature which was required by our team without our knowledge and now when we got know what they did, they are asking us to do the work. I have an estimate and yes they are higher than expected because this feature is on their systems and I don't have complete understanding of it. This is ridiculous though but still I think that I'm wrong somewhere but I know this work is not easy for me, that's why estimations are high.
I'm on leave, I'm not supposed to be working anyway even if it's a small clarification.
Adding more here, that guy tagged another person from my team to do the work as I'm on leave. This guy did some work before too. But this is insane. HOW THE FUCK YOU EXPECT US TO DO IT FOR YOU!! YOU FUCKED IT UP!!!
I feel scared, what if the other guy can actually do the work, people will think I'm just stupid.:(((
