After ten months. I still hate Instagram's algorithmic news feed. Just because I like a lot of memes doesn't mean I want to miss out on my rarely-posting-friend's posts thanks.
While the chronological feed is never coming back, I just wish they'd add a switch and let us choose what we like.

Its at this point where I'm wondering why no-one has built a chronological app yet. It doesn't even necessarily need its own server-side app. Doesn't even matter about the lack of third party support, just scrape the data from the web frontend...

I dumped Facebook among many other reasons for the same braindead algorithm. Instagram went the same way once Facebook bought and integrated them.

But.. instagram is chronological while Facebook is not.

Instagram's feed shows whatever you are following in real posting time.

@mundo03 no it does not. I find posts from 5h ago before posts 2minutes ago because this crappy algorithm thinks I'm more interested in it 🙄
And thats not even mentioning the posts I miss out on completely because I didn't scroll enough.

i live with only social media, ytb, devrant and whatsapp these days.

i used to do all that snap and ig shit

but guess what. i dont miss it one fucking bit. and that some people live on these platforms is just so fucked up. like yea. i was like that. but that was at the shittiest time of my life.
