In the tabs vs spaces debate I'm on the tabs side of things, but I have no problems with spaces.
But if you indent your entire code with 1 space and then indent everything else with 3,5,7... etc. I will hunt and kill you.

    Indent with tabs, then change how they're rendered without changing the actual code. You can't do that with spaces.

    @vintprox I'm sorry if it isn't obvious english is not my first language, and I'm kinda sleep deprived.

    @kamen yeah that's why I like to use tabs, but some people just prefer spaces, and I do not get paid enough to fight them.

    4 spaces when you press the tab key. If there's a need to render a smaller indentation, you should just delete the code base and start again.

    I used to have 4 tabs with every hour of working, but since I quit smoking I just stare into space.

    @EdoPhoenix "I do not get enough to fight them" is a good argument for a lot of things, not just this. Still, some things bother me on an almost personal level.
